But then Andrew Breitbart died. His passing reminds us that to be silent is to accept, to acquiesce. So, in that spirit I am rejoining the fight. I don't know that any one person can fill Breitbart's void, but if enough step up and into that breach we will not lose any ground, for we are all Andrew Breitbart.
I heard this song this morning, and I thought about Breitbart's legacy. It's called "Save The Planet."
When Constitutions of granite can't save the planet/what's to become of us?
That's when the powers of observation
come to the periphery town
and we carry their water
we don't make a sound
and after gaining our resignation
they come through the chainlink fence
your only enemy's panic
your only chance is to start making sense
Sleep plunging into deeper debt
into bunkers and black minarets
on geyser of ink
a morning voice faint and yet
Why do we fight? So that they may never gain our resignation; because we will not carry their water.
